Workforce Diversity

The Chicago Urban League’s workforce diversity initiatives were created to raise the employment and income levels of African Americans and to provide employers with access to a diverse pool of talented African American applicants.

Goals

  • Increase the number of minorities in leadership roles at corporations; and
  • Promote inclusion goals with employers by administering customized search, placement, retention and career advancement training programs

Target audience

  • College students
  • Job seekers with technical, professional and management backgrounds
  • Businesses looking for top talent in the African American Community
