Workforce Development
The Chicago Urban League works to raise African-American employment and income levels through job training and placement services, career exposure, career advancement, seminars, coaching and long-term retention strategies.
In concert with the League’s Human Capital Development Department, we help individuals access the skills, knowledge, support and networks they need to enter the workforce and advance in their careers.
The Chicago Urban League operates two full-service employment and training centers as well as a career portal for jobseekers and employers. The League also has formed relationships/partnerships with local employers and training providers to provide employment and internship opportunities.
