Hello, this is Christopher White Jr. and Marcelous Crosby, blogging on day three. We had a wakeup call at 6:00am to get ready for breakfast which offered different varieties of foods from roast sausages, to cowpea with minced meat and even desserts including spongecakes. We departed from the Xijiao Hotel at 8:30am for the Beijing South Train Station. Our bullet train to Hangzhou left Beijing at 11:19am.The bullet train was a smooth ride even while going almost 200mph, we travelled more than 800 miles in 6 hours, and it was an amazing experience!!! We arrived in Hangzhou at 5:13pm and headed to the Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic campus. We received a warm welcome from the Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic Chinese student ambassadors; they made us feel very special and welcomed to be here. Next we checked into our beautiful hotel rooms to freshen up for the amazing opening ceremony and welcoming dinner that they had prepared for us. The food was awesome and it varied from things such as fish, tofu, duck tongue, pitaya fruit, and our favorite the sweet watermelon! The student ambassadors performed a song and dance for us and then one of our ambassadors Myles Gibbs went up and danced. After that, we were all invited up to dance and we finally ended our night with smiles on our faces as we went to go lay down to prepare for another great day with our hosts.
